The price of Kuwaiti crude oil went down Friday 96 cents to USD 39.30 per barrel after being at USD 40.26 pb the day before, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) quoted Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) as announcing on Saturday.

At the world markets, the price of oil increased due to statistics regarding the decrease in growth at the American job market as well as pressure on the US Dollar despite fears of an increase in oil production at the global scale.

The price of the Brent crude was up USD 1.38 to USD 46.83 per barrel. The West Texas Intermediate followed suit going up USD 1.20 to USD 44.44 pb.
