Kuwaiti crude oil price was up 84 cents to USD 105. 49 pb on Thursday compared to USD 104.65 pb the day before, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said on Friday. International oil prices stayed affected by the official report of US Strategic Petroleum Reserve level issued by the US Federal Reserve on Wednesday. The report showed an unexpected increase, beyond expectations, in the largest oil consuming country worldwide. The dollar index dropped compared to a basket of key currencies including the sterling pound, Japanese Yen, Euro, and Swiss Franc, noting that the oil barrel price is affected in an inverse relation with the dollar exchange price. US crude futures November delivery reached USD 103.21 pb, reaching its highest at USD 103.18 pb, while Brent crude futures reached USD 108.61 pb, down 39 cents.
