Iran\'s non-oil exports reached 17.9 billion U.S. dollars in the first six months of the current Iranian calendar year, started on March 21, Press TV reported on Saturday. The exported non-oil commodities, weighed 41.659 million tons, showed a 9.41 percent rise in weight and a 13.59 percent decline in value year on year, according to a report by the Iranian Customs Administration. Iran also imported 19.935 billion dollars of goods weighing 13. 241 million tons in the first six months of the current Iranian calendar year. The figures showed a 31.26 percent decline in weight and a 25.4 percent fall in value, according to Press TV. Iron ore, urea, methanol, gas condensates and petrochemical products were Iran\'s main exported products. China, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan and India were the main importers of non-oil products from Iran. Iran\'s main imported products included rice, soy meal, corn fodder, wheat and vehicles in the first six months of the current Iranian calendar year. The United Arab Emirates was the leading exporter of non-oil products to Iran, followed by China, India, South Korea and Turkey.
