Operator of South Pars phases 22-24 Farhad Izadjoo told Shana that the first phase of the gas processing plant will come on line in May 2013 with a processing capacity of 12.5 million cubic meters of sour gas per day. \"The plant will at first process sour gas being sent to Aghajari oil field but concurrent with launching the first platform of the phases 22-24 in August 2013, the plant will shift to processing the gas produced in the phases 22-24,\" he said. Izadjoo said the phases had progressed by 48% physically, while construction of the processing plant has made 61% of progress in a 22 month period that is \"unprecedented\". He further said that four platforms would be set up in the phases 22-24, and that one of them will come online in the first half of the next Iranian year. Development plan of the South Pars gas field phases 22-24 aims at production of 56.6 million cubic meters of sour gas, 75 thousand barrels of gas condensate, 400 tons of sulfur, 2.870 tons of LNG and 2.740 tons of ethane per day. Development contacts of South Pars gas field phases 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 were signed with domestic contractors for completion in a 35 month period in June 2010.
