Egypt\'s exports of crude oil and petroleum products increased by 11.3\\% in January 2013 to hit $393 million compared to #353 million in 2012. The figures were released by Egypt cabinet\'s Information and Decision Support Center in a statement obtained by MENA. The local consumption of petroleum products rose in January 2013 by 13.9\\% to hit 2,973,000 tons compared to 2,610,000 tons in the same period in 2012. According to the statement, Egypt\'s exports of natural gas declined by 14.43\\% in January 2013 to hit $172 million. Also, the local consumption of natural gas dropped by 5.14\\% in January 2013 reaching at 3,191,000 tons compared to 3,364,000 tons during the same month last year.
