Iran\'s gas production will rise by 150 million cubic meters per day this year after launching the South Pars gas field phases 12, 15 and 16, head of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) Ahmad Qalebani said.Qalebani said production of oil and gas from shared fields was one of the main priorities of the company over the current year.He added that by launching the three mentioned phases of South Pars not only total gas production would climb considerably but also production of other by-products will rise for consumption either domestically or for exports. The other issue in NIOC\'s agenda is enhancing recovery rate, Qalebani said adding the company plans to revise in its strategic plans along with changes in domestic and international situations.According to the NIOC top executive, the company plans to raise productivity by focusing on using knowledge-based patterns in order to lower the spending especially when drilling may raise the costs.
