Crude oil for October delivery eased back toward $107 per barrel Monday morning, as investors remained focused on Syria, according to UPI. The Obama administration is continuing to push for a military intervention in response to the Syrian government\'s alleged use of chemical weapons on its own citizens. West Texas Intermediate crude oil for October delivery settled slightly in New York, losing 16 cents to $107.49 per barrel. Reformulated blendstock gasoline lost 1.11 cents to $2.879 per gallon. Home heating oil added 0.43 cents to reach $3.1409 per gallon. Natural gas gained 8.3 cents to $3.664 per million British thermal units. At the pump, the national average price for unleaded regular gasoline was $3.591 per gallon, down from Sunday\'s $3.594, the AAA Fuel Gauge report said.
