Facebook is looking to change how its users experience the site, recently the social media giant has been in talks to add music videos.

The website, who changed social media in the early 2000s, is looking to change how its users experience music videos. The New York Times reports Facebook is looking to make a deal with record labels in order to add music videos to the site.

Facebook proposed to add a limited number of music videos to Facebook feeds, and the labels would pick what videos would be added to the site.

In turn, Facebook would share any ad revenue received by the videos on the site, which according to The New York Times report the ad share deal would offer more to the labels than what they already get through YouTube.

Variety reported that Facebook would create a picture in picture type function for the videos. This would allow users to enjoy the videos and continue to scroll through their news feed, the video would float in the corner leaving the rest of the feed accessible to the user.

The details between Facebook and the record labels are being kept under wraps.
