A number of officials and managers of a set of global space technology and satellites companies have highly praised Qatar\'s genuine and strong desire for space technology investment and how best to fully benefit from privileges being offered by such space technology science.   The officials expressed in presentations\' show at the control and monitoring centre at \'Jupiter\" base prior to the launching of Eshail 1 satellite, their much delight for the joining of one of the most distinguished customers, namely Qatar to invest in space technology. ‘The new customer is always seeking for the utmost benefit of the space technology and privileges in all its forms and scientific and technological dimensions\", they said.    The worldly-renown officials lauded anew the tangible accomplishment Qatar scored last night when it managed to launch Eshail 1 satellite which was successfully launched into orbit by an Ariane 5 rocket from the European Space Center in Kourou, French Guiana, on the northeast coast of South America. For his part, CEO of EshailSat, Ali bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari said in a statement at the presentation that the EshailSat programme plays an important strategic role as Qatar works to meet the rapidly growing communications needs in the region. With the arrival of Eshail 1, we have completed the first step in our mission to become a centre of excellence in the region and develop a sustainable national satellite industry. \"Qatars first satellite will provide our strategic stakeholders and commercial customers with broadcasting independence, quality service and wide geographical coverage. We congratulate Arianespace on delivering a picture-perfect lift-off and look forward to working with Eutelsats operations team to bring Eshail 1 into service,\" he added. Al-Kuwari has expressed immense proud for witnessing here in Kourou the birth of a new star over Qatar with the successful launch of our Eshail 1 satellite.  A broadcasting was made from the orbital location of 25.5 deg, characterized by the High-definition television (HDTV), which would support Qatar Satellite Company (Es\'hailSat)\'s capacity to provide advanced satellite services and television, voice, Internet, corporate and government services across the Middle East and North Africa region and beyond. Based on the SSL 1300 platform of Space Systems/Loral, EUTELSAT 25B/Eshail 1 is designed to serve broadcasters, businesses and public agencies in the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia via capacity in the Ku and Ka-bands. It will replace the EUTELSAT 25C satellite at the key 25.5  East position to provide both superior geographic coverage and increased capacity to address dynamically expanding digital markets. Following EUTELSAT 25B/Eshail 1\'s entry into service Eutelsat will redeploy its EUTELSAT 25C to another location where it will pursue commercial service.  A celebration was held at the residence premises of the official Qatari delegation on the occasion of the successful launch of Suhail- 1 . The event was attended by HE Mrs. Nicolas Brix, the French Minister of Foreign Trade, and an exchange of gifts was made on the occasion. The Qatari delegation visited last night the space center in Kourou, where the necessary procedures and arrangements were usually being taken prior to the launch of any satellite in terms of safety, weather and refueling and other arrangements.
