Weather forecasts are favorable for the last landing under the Space Shuttle program, mission control official Leroy Caine said. The Atlantis shuttle, which undocked from the International Space Station (ISS) on Tuesday, is to land at the Kennedy Space center just before 6 a.m. local time (10:00 GMT) on Thursday. Atlantis lifted off on July 8 on its final flight, a 13-day mission to deliver cargo and equipment to the ISS. Once the U.S. shuttle fleet is retired after the end of the current Atlantis mission to the orbital station, Russia\'s Soyuz and Progress spacecraft will take the bulk of crew rotation and cargo missions to the ISS until at least the middle of the decade.
