Partial solar eclipse

A partial solar eclipse will take place on October 23 but will not be observed in Egypt or the Arab region, according to the Astronomy and Geophysical Research Institute on Thursday.
The partial cover-up of the sun will be seen in eastern Asia and North America, head of the institute's Astronomy department Ashraf Latif Tadrus told MENA.
At the peak, the moon will cover 81 percent of sun disk.
This eclipse is the last to be witnessed this year.
