Minister of Military Production Mohamed Said al Assar and Minister of Communications Yasser al Qadi discussed on Sunday a number of issues of mutual concern including the establishment of technology areas nationwide.

During their meeting, they reviewed the establishment phases of the technology areas in various cities including new Aswan, new Assiut, new Beni Suef, Sadat, Borg el Arab, 10th of Ramadan and new Damietta.

They also discussed the Military Production Ministry's contribution to the project.

Assar asserted the importance of holding follow-up meetings and to finalize the project as scheduled.

Meanwhile, Qadi said the first phase of new Assiut and Borg el Arab technology areas will be finalized within a year.

These projects come within the framework of sustainable societal development and also aim to limit internal migration, create more job opportunities, attract international investments and promote innovation.
