The website of the Labor Ministry was hacked Thursday by a group calling itself \"Mad Hackers Team.” The group claimed that its message was a “wake-up call directed at the Lebanese.” \"The electronic revolution is ongoing and our campaign against Lebanese websites is ongoing,\" reads the text on the website, which appears seconds after the website loads. The message adds that the group\'s target is Lebanese websites in what is described as a “peaceful, rational revolution.” “Our goal is to send a message to the Lebanese people and rulers. Our only dream is to wake up someday as a nation, a free nation, an equal nation, a nation with culture,” the text said. “We are tired of inequality and backwardness. When will we come out of this backward swamp? When will we get our rights? When will there be employment opportunities?\" The hackers also criticized Lebanese for supporting politicians and following them blindly, saying these politicians are the only people in the country who live comfortably. “What equality is there when our salaries are LL400,000 per month and an apartment costs at least $100,000?” asks the message. “At the end, we apologize to the website owners but we wanted to vent,” the Mad Hackers Team said.
