French President Francois Hollande met Wednesday with technology executives and city officials in San Francisco, California, offering his government’s support to French entrepreneurs seeking to learn from Silicon Valley. Hollande was greeted at San Francisco’s City Hall on Wednesday morning by the city’s mayor. The president and members of his cabinet later met with executives including Eric Schmidt of Google, Sheryl Sandberg of Facebook, and Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey. The visit to California was part of Hollande’s three-day state visit that included meetings and a dinner with President Barack Obama on Tuesday.
