China has launched a remote-sensing satellite (Yaogan-26) into its defined orbit.
The satellite will be used in carrying out scientific experiments, land surveys, crop yield estimates and prevention from disasters.
Long March-4B rocket carried the satellite from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in North China’s Shanxi province.
