Minister of State for Defence Affairs also Chairman of the Supreme Council for Health Lt-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa inaugurated today Phase One of the National Health Insurance (NHI) Programme.
Thus includes workshops organised in collaboration with a team of experts and advisors from the World Bank. The Minister chaired a meeting held with the experts and advisors from the World Bank on Sunday.
The inauguration comes in the light of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa's approval and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister's directives.
