Computer industry analysts say a parts listing from a U.S. iPad accessories manufacturer suggests Apple\'s much hyped iPad 3 may actually be named the iPad HD. An image allegedly of a parts listing from accessory maker Griffin Technology showed three case accessories designed for a new \"iPad HD,\" slashgear.com reported Friday. Michael Fonfara, who tweeted the image Friday, also said he had confirmation of the new name from another accessories maker, California-based Belkin International Inc. Speculation about the \"iPad HD\" name surfaced when rumors first spread about the upgrade to a retina-like high-definition, or HD, display. With the actual unveiling event set for Wednesday, large manufacturers would likely know what to expect -- or they could just be guessing, slashgear.com said.
