Organizers and exhibitors of the 58th Belgrade Fair of Technics and Technical Achievements said the event offered numerous new machines to the buyers, many of which will after the fair get new owners and be installed in factories across Serbia and the region. This year's fair of technics in Belgrade gathered companies from 17 countries and regions that offer products to potential buyers from May 12 to 16 at the Belgrade Fair. One of the organizers of the fair, Dragan Zecevic, told Xinhua that more than 100 innovations in technics, electro technics, acclimatization, heating and others will be presented during the fair, of which 50 will be regional premiers. "We are pleased with the visit, because it shows that there are still companies that are interested in buying latest machines and robotized machines, because 90 percent of this fair has to do with business," he said. Among 500 companies at this year's fair, there are 30 of them that offer Chinese products, Zecevic told Xinhua. Among them is IEI from Taiwan that makes industrial computers that can stand various temperature conditions from -20 to 60 degrees Celsius, some adaptable to various conditions such as dust, moisture, while some are waterproof. Ivan Milijic from the company Infoteh Studio that represents IEI said they managed to present the industrial computers to new buyers whom they had contacted few weeks before and invited to their expo. However, he got the impression that "the fair is getting smaller every year, and there are less exhibitors every year." At the fair are mostly companies from Serbia and the region that offer products by foreign companies which this represents. Some companies interviewed by Xinhua are satisfied with the businesses they made at the fair, but some others said the fair is getting smaller every year. Ilija Stevanovic is among the satisfied ones who is from a Serbia company to present a mobile solar generator that produces electricity to power pumps that bring water to crops on the fields. "It serves to help manufacturers make their products in a more economical and faster way, also raising their yield," said Stevanovic that worked on the mechanical part of the production of this small mobile car with a solar panel on top. Another company offers precise water jet cutters, produced by PTV from the Czech Republic. "Pressure under which the cutter works is up to 4,000 bar, and together with the abrasive it can cut various metals and materials", said Milan Markovic, official of the Water Power Technologies, adding that they are extremely satisfied about the interest for their products and potential sales in the future. Although there are complains about the expensive fair space fees and the decrease of the participants, there are buyers at the fair managing to make deals with companies from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and rest of the region, making the oldest of all of Serbian fairs that celebrates this year its 58th edition to appear as a successful one.
