Macedonia First Lady Maja Ivanova on Sunday visited the Children's Museum Jordan (CMJ), where she got acquainted with efforts to protect childhood and social development.
During the tour at the CMJ, which was established by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah to be a leading regional resource and incubator for new and innovative ideas including early childhood education and development, the Museum's Director, Sawsan Dalaq briefed Ivanova on the contents of the foundation and the educational models it provides.
She also visited the Jordan River Foundation's (JRF) handicrafts exhibition and paid a closer look at handicrafts products project, which the JRF implements to local community women in three main districts in the Kingdom.
Head of the Directorate of Information and Communication Muath Tarshehi also briefed Ivanova on the importance of the project in empowering women at the economic and social levels. The First Lady lauded the project and its role in developing local communities services and empowering women.
