Arab Women Organisation (AWO) on Sunday announced that it will confer the Pendant of Family Happiness on H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, GWU, Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation, FDF, and Head of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, in recognition of her support for Emirati and Arab families as well as her sincere international efforts for families and childhood.
The announcement was made during a press conference by Jamal bin Obaid Al Bah, Chairman of the Arab Women Organisation and Abed Baidas, the CEO of Identity Branding Forum.
Al Bah said that an official ceremony will be held on 25 March to present the Mother of the Nation with the honour.
