An Ocala, Fla., woman whose throat slit by her daughter's boyfriend was taken to the hospital by her attacker, Marion County Sheriff's deputies said. Sheriff's deputies said the woman's 13-year-old daughter's boyfriend, after slitting the woman's throat, had threatened to kill the girl's father but was persuaded to take the bleeding woman to a hospital Sunday, the Ocala Star Banner reported. The boyfriend, 15, left the woman at the emergency room at the hospital, and hospital personnel called police. The woman was transported to another hospital and underwent life-saving surgery, officials said. The father was uninjured, sheriff's office spokesman Judge Cochran said. Cochran said the juveniles were arrested several hours later. An arrest affidavit indicated the boy and his girlfriend planned the attack last week by phone and on Facebook, the Star Banner said. The two wanted to be together, the boy said. The teens were arrested on two counts each of conspiracy to commit murder and one count each of attempted second-degree murder.
