A Serbian teenage girl died from carbon monoxide poisoning caused by a heating stove in the northern Greek city of Thessaloniki, local authorities said on Monday. The 13-year-old girl was living with her unemployed mother in an apartment without electricity. Both of them lost consciousness due to the fumes from the wood stove Sunday night, but the mother recovered and notified police. Two weeks ago, an elderly couple died in a similar accident in the city.
