Head of Youth Department at the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) Mazen Anwar took part in the Permanent Advisory Committee for Arab Youth at the Arab Women Organization (AWO) from 27 to 28 May in Dhabi. The meeting unanimously approved the proposal of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the mental health of Arab women in rural areas, which will be submitted to the Organization\'s Advisory Committees and to be applied in future. Bahrain\'s representative submitted a proposal on activating social media channels to promote youth media to serve the Organization and Arab women. During the meeting, the chairmanship of the Committee was transferred from the representative of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the representative of U.A.E. and naming the Rapporteur of the Committee for the year 2013. In addition to discussing establishment of subcommittees that report to the Advisory Committee and their responsibilities in strategic areas, as well as discussing the terms and conditions must be met by applicants for the Arab Women\'s Organization Award for best media production, in addition to providing opinions and advices to the Executive Council of the Organization in supporting the role of Arab women in building their communities, this proposal was launched during the chairmanship of Bahrain for the Organization in 2006. It is worth to mention that Arab Women Organization was founded in 2002 and aims to support cooperation, exchange experiences and raise awareness for boosting Arab women\'s issues in economic, social, legal, cultural and media aspects. As well as integrating women\'s issues in comprehensive development plans and policies, to play their roles as essential partners in building their communities.
