Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, a subsidiary of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, has announced the opening of registration for the fourth edition of the Afaaq Leadership Camp, which takes place between 19th to 25th December.

Targeted at ladies aged 14 to 17, the camp aims to develop the leadership skills of Emirati girls and nurture a generation of Emirati women leaders, in line with the vision of H.H. Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, Chairperson of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation, and wife of H.H. the Ruler of Sharjah, for building the character of Emirati women.

"In keeping with our unwavering commitment to supporting all aspects of the social, psychological and physical development of Emirati girls, we invite young women in the UAE to join the fourth Afaaq Leadership Camp and take part in inspirational workshops and activities designed to foster their leadership skills," said Sheikha Aisha Khalid Al Qasimi, Director of Sajaya Young Ladies and Head of the Higher Committee of the Afaaq Leadership Camp.

She added that the camp aims to elevate participants’ leadership attributes, to qualify them to become active and influential players in the building and development of their country, as well as to imbue them with the skills to better represent the UAE in various regional and global forums.

Information and registration for the Afaaq Leadership Camp are available on the Sajaya website until 9th of November.
