A British mother was found guilty on manslaughter for starving her 4-year-old son to death and sentenced to 15 years in prison. Amanda Hutton, 43, a mother of eight, was convicted and sentenced for the death of her son, Hamzah Khan, Thursday at Bradford Crown Court, The Daily Telegraph reported. Prosecutors said Hutton starved Hamzah to death, then kept his body on a cot in her home in Bradford for two years until it was discovered in September 2011. Hutton admitted she neglected five of her other children, ages of 5 to 13, \"The details of your wicked conduct have been displayed in such awful detail over the past three weeks in the trial that concluded yesterday,\" said Judge Roger Thomas before sentencing Hutton to 15 years in prison. Thomas said the offenses \"demonstrate a most fundamental and serious breach of any duty that an individual in decent society can owe to others -- namely the duty that a parent owes to her or his young children to take proper care of them.\" Hutton\'s oldest son, Tariq Khan, 24, who was charged with preventing the burial of his younger brother, received a two-year suspended sentence. Prosecutor Paul Greaney said Tariq told police in an interview he did not contact them when his brother died because \"if he said anything, she would kill the rest of the children.\"
