Health Minister Faeqa bint Said Al Saleh received today President of the Arabian Gulf University (AGU) Dr. Khalid Al Awhali, in the presence of Assistant Undersecretary for Hospitals Affairs Dr. Mohammed Amine Al Awadhi. She lauded the honourable achievements of AGU, describing the university as an educational and academic edifice and one of the most important GCC joint projects. She also hailed the university's pioneering role in supplying the health sector with highly qualified competencies in the field of medicine and scientific research.

Dr. Al Awhali thanked the Health Minister, commending Bahrain's ongoing support to the university which contributed to its success and to achieving forecast goals.

Both sides discussed boosting cooperation between the Health Ministry and AGU for the benefit of the students and researchers and to ensure quality educational curricula and training and research programmes.
