Chairman of the Parliamentary Women and Children Affairs Committee, MP Ibtisam Hagras, led women parliamentary delegation to the United Kingdom to participate in two workshops under the theme of (Strengthening women's role in the Parliament and the relationship with civil society institutions) and (The links in the field of general policies in the Middle East and North Africa - Improving general policies based on the evidences).The Arab Parliamentary Union and the Westminster Foundation for Democracy to organize both workshops in collaboration with the Lebanese Parliament's Arab Institute for Parliamentary Training and Legislative Studies in London from 28 - 30 January 2014.The first workshop aims to promote parliamentary women's leadership in support of key legislation, while the second one aims to establish a relationship between policy makers and policy analysis based on evidences.The Parliamentary delegation included in its membership, MP Dr. Sumaiah Al-Jodar, MP Dr. Nada Hafadh and MP Dr. jihad Al-Fadhil.International Relations Specialist Sadiq Ismael and Parliamentary Relations specialist Ameera Al-Qataf, also accompanied the Parliamentary delegation.
