Two women were wounded overnight when a scuffle degenerated into a shootout in Hay al-Sellum in Beirut’s southern suburbs, security sources said Friday. They said Hiam Salam Zaitouni and Hiba Ali al-Hamad were wounded when members of the Nassereddine and Abbas families exchanged gunfire following an altercation. Security forces are in pursuit of the armed men who fled to an unknown destination.
