The scholarships offered to the Syrian students in Russian universities will be increased to 300 ones.
During an international high-level meeting on the Syrian refugees held in Geneva, the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov said that the scholarships will focus on teaching the students means of boosting Syrian economy and reforming the infrastructure in their country, according to Russia Today on Wednesday.
The Russian diplomat stressed the importance that the refugees and displaced should have the right to return home and participate in the efforts exerted to reconstruct Syria.
