The government has decided to deny state subsidies to colleges that are poorly managed, officials said Thursday, in the latest effort to revamp the bloated university sector. The decision was made at a meeting earlier this week between Education Minister Lee Ju-ho and Knowledge Economy Minister Choi Joong-kyung, an official at the Education Ministry said.
