The Euro-Mediterranean University (EMUNI University) based in Portoroz in Slovenia, has launched its 5th Summer Semester - Professional School 2012 offering postgraduate courses in issues related to the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM). The lessons are held between June and September at different partner institutions around the Mediterranean, including Greece, Italy and Spain. According to the Enpi website (www.enpi-info.eu), the 5th Euro-Mediterranean Summer Semester aims to enhance cooperation among Euro-Mediterranean universities, to stimulate mobility and to contribute to the understanding among people and cultures. It offers participants the opportunity to improve their knowledge on subjects relevant to the Union for the Mediterranean and gain international and intercultural experience. The courses are in English, French or one of the languages of the Union for the Mediterranean and all participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance issued by EMUNI University. EMUNI is an international university based in Slovenia. It represents one of the six projects of the Union for the Mediterranean. It aims to contribute to harmonisation of higher education and research and contribute to lasting development of the wider social-economic and cultural environment in Euro-Med countries.
