The teaching staff of Sana'a University announced that it will begin strike starting from Monday.

This comes to protest the storming of the university's campus by the Houthis' militias and kidnapping number of professors as well as students.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the teaching staff said that they were surprised to find armed groups, affiliated to the Houthis, attack the campus and beat the teaching staff while they were organizing a protest in solidarity with their colleague who was kidnapped by the Houthis four months ago.
