Aswan University President Mansour Kabbas said on Monday that Prime Minister Sherif Ismail issued a decree to establish an institution on African and Nile Basin studies and researches.

The new center will study various development fields concerning the Nile Basin, he added.

It will also aim to foster relations between Egypt and Nile Basin countries, he further said.
