University of Alabama (UAB) and Prince Mohammad bin Fahd University are considering establishing a master’s program in health administration. The idea came up for discussion during the recent visit to PMU of an Alabama University delegation that included Dean of Health Professions Professor Harold Jones and professor Robert Hernandez. Director of International Relations at King Fahd Specialty Hospital in Dammam, Mohammad Al-Saghier, accompanied the delegation. Discussions between the two sides centered on the proposed collaboration for the courses in health education to be run at the planned College of Medicine at PMU. PMU and UAB explored possibilities to collaborate for the study programs coming under the Prince Sultan College to rehabilitate people with impaired vision. The university plans to start new programs for the benefit of all communities in the region by offering health care opportunities.
