Scores of students affiliated to the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group have staged a protest at Cairo University calling for the return of their expelled colleagues.
They blocked the roads outside the university, lit off firecrackers and clashed with other students.
The security forces ended the clashes between the two sides and opened the road for traffic.
