The Head of Minya University Mohamed Ahmed el-Sherif said that the mid-year exams, which began Saturday on 9:00 am, go on normally. The exams did not witness any violations and all the students attended, he added. Security alerts were raised to secure the exams, el-Sherif underlined, adding that if riots took place it will be confronted firmly by law. The demonstrators, who protested against the death of their colleague Mohamed Rabie Abdel Salam, were dispersed, he added.
