Abu Dhabi - WAM
The Khalifa University of Science and Technology has once again achieved top rankings in the UAE and third in the Arab World in the most recent Times Higher Education's, THE, rankings for engineering and technology subjects.
Khalifa University is placed in the 201-250 band out of 500 engineering and technology educational institutes from all around the world. The ranking employs the same rigorous and balanced range of 13 performance indicators used in the overall World University Rankings, but the methodology has been recalibrated to suit individual fields.
"This achievement reinforces Khalifa University of Science and Technology’s leading position both locally and regionally, and a continuation of what has been previously achieved, especially with regards to the world rankings." said Dr. Tod Laursen, Interim President of Khalifa University.
"It’s a testament to quality of our faculty, the ambition of our students, and the support we receive from government and industry. We would not have been able to achieve these without the support of our community and their drive and dedication to succeed. This global recognition will undoubtedly be a catalyst for our community to continue to excel and push forward in our drive to provide the UAE with an internationally recognized education and innovative research and development," he concluded.
