Paris Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi has discussed opportunities to expand cooperation with Greek academic institutions. This came during a visit of the Greek Minister of Education and Religious Affairs, Konstantinos Arvanitopoulos, to Paris Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, along with the Greek Ambassador, Dionisios Zois, and a delegation from the Greek Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs. Prof. Dr. Eric Fouache, Vice Chancellor, PSUAD, and members of the faculty received the guests. The Greek delegation showed interest in learning about the Emirati experience and the educational and cultural programmes developed by PSUAD to train students academically and practically as productive and well-rounded human resources with marketable skills. Prof. Fouache offered PSUAD's commemorative shield to Arvanitopoulos as a token of the value of cultural and educational exchange. He briefed the visiting delegation on the study programmes and courses delivered by PSUAD at undergraduate and graduate levels across 19 degrees. He also offered the visitors a brief history of the French education system and a tour of the campus during which they met with graduate students and discovered the various university departments, administrative offices, and study halls in addition to the library and state-of-the-art labs. Konstantinos Arvanitopoulos lauded the educational accomplishments of Abu Dhabi and its plans and programmes to advance the educational system and attract prestigious global universities of the calibre of Paris Sorbonne.
