Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Science (KFAS) has renewed its program with the French Fondation Nationale Des Sciences Politiques (FNSP) after a great success of connecting the two countries\' academicians in the past five years. The renewing of the agreement was signed by KFAS\'s Director General Adnan Shihab Eldin and Interim Director of FNSP Herve Cres. Kuwait Permanent Representative to the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Dr. Ali Al-Tarrah, Sheikha Hessa Al-Sabah, KFAS board member Ali Al-Baghli and Kuwaiti Ambassador to France Ali Al-Sae\'ed were present at the signing ceremony. The re-signing of the five-year program came after it achieved success in connecting the two countries\' academicians and lawmakers as well as encouraging joint scientific research which specifically target Gulf region and Middle East affairs. KFAS has signed for the next 10 years similar agreements with several prominent universities such as Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) University and the London School of Economics in order to create channels of communication amongst highly-placed academics and researchers. These agreements also aim at bringing to Kuwait the latest knowledge on science and technology. The program is an internationally competitive avenue for higher education. It works with an extensive network of corporations, international organizations, public administrations and NGOs throughout the world.
