Special representative of security-general for children, armed conflict, Leila Zerrougui

Israeli occupation forces used a UNRWA school in Gaza as a military base during the offensive on the enclave, a UN offical stated on Monday.
Special Representative of the Security-General for Children and Armed Conflict, Leila Zerrougui, stated that the IOF bombed 244 schools, of which 75 were run by UNRWA. Whilst not revealing its name, one such UNRWA school was used an Israeli military base.
Speaking of the aftermath of the assault on Gaza, Zerrougui revealed that of the children wounded during the conflict, one third now suffer from full disability.
