His Majesty King Abdullah II has ordered that public schools across the Kingdom be supplied with central heating, in a project that will be carried out on stages.
The order is added to other royal initiatives to develop education and improve conditions for learning throughout the education process. Fifty schools are incorporated in the initial stage of the heating project, as a personal donation by the King.
The King also ordered Royal Court officials to study prospects of using renewable energy to power heating systems at public schools.
