UK Ambassador Andrew Noble

British Council Algeria has launched a new strategic programme to strengthen English language teaching and learning in intermediate and secondary schools over the next three years.
The agreement, signed on 3 September by National Education Minister Nouria Benghabrit and UK Ambassador Andrew Noble, "recognizes the importance of developing English teaching standards in Algeria and represents an extended level of English educational cooperation between the two countries," the director of British Council Algeria, Martin Daltry told a press conference.
The press conference was an opportunity to outline the cooperation programme in English language teaching initiated in the agreement, which "provides for facilitation and support by British Council for the new SEEDS (Strategic English Educational Development for Schools) Algeria Plan," said Daltry
