Sharif Hamad, the Minister of Scientific Research, on Monday stressed the importance of boosting inter-Arab cooperation in the scientific research field.

The minister hailed a joint declaration signed between Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia for bolstering joint cooperation in the scientific research in the fields of energy, water, health, agriculture and food.

"This declaration will pave the way for better cooperation among Arab nations in the scientific cooperation and technology," the minister said.

Last week, the three nations have inked the declaration.
