Medical check-ups have been conducted on students and staff of schools hit by chickenpox and mumps in Qalubiya, said a well-placed source on Saturday.
Undersecretary of education department in Qalubiya Olfat Farghaly said that all preventive measures were taken and the maximum readiness was raised after infections were confirmed.
An operations room was appointed to follow up the situation, Farghaly added.
