Grand imam of Azhar Ahmed El Tayeb on Thursday said Azhar is ready to offer scholarships for Mauritanian students.
El Tayeb made his comments during a meeting with Mauritanian Ambassador to Egypt Sidi Mohamed Ould Boubakr.
They discussed ways to boost ties between Azhar and Mauritania.
