Al-Ahram organisation's third Higher Education Fair sessions discussed Thursday the relationship between education and the labor market in Egypt, focusing on technology and the information field, with high participation of the country's schools and university students.    The fair, held under the umbrella of Egypt's Prime Minister Sherif Ismail, was attended by Minister of Higher Education Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar and Ahmed Sayed El-Naggar, chairman of Al-Ahram organisation, in addition to education officials and presidents of private and public universities.    The fair included a special seminar to discuss future plans and perspectives on developing educational services in the country, with the attendance of Hussein Eissa, head of the planning committee of the Egyptian parliament, highlighting plans to innovate private and public education in the country.   The event also featured a seminar on the role of art in developing education, with renowned Egyptian actor Mohamed Sobhi as the main speaker.    During the fair, head of Egypt's Supreme Council of Universities Ahraf Hatem underlined the importance of establishing a state run authority to finance higher education in Egypt.         Source: Ahram online
