A school bus overturned at about 6 p.m. Monday in Fengxian county in the city of Xuzhou, east China\'s Jiangsu province, leaving 12 students dead. The bus belongs to the primary school of Zhanghoutun village in Shouxian township in Fengxian, said a spokesperson with the Xuzhou municipal government. According to the preliminary investigation, the school bus was trying to avoid hitting a vehicle when the accident happened. The exact cause of the accident was still under investigation.
