The UAE Red Crescent Authority (RCA) and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) signed today a cooperation agreement for building eight model schools in Gaza Strip at a total cost of AED 58.76 million. RCA Secretary General Dr. Mohammed Al Falahi and UNRWA Deputy Commissioner Peter Ford signed the agreement which will see the RCA implementing the project in two phases. The schools will be built in areas that desperately need educational services.
