The Media department of foreign states in the external media sector at the Ministry of Information is currently hosting a number of outstanding students representing the U.S. University of Los Angeles (UCLA), in a program organized in coordination with the Kuwaiti Consulate in Los Angeles. The US delegation visit is aimed at educating the guests about various public and private sectors, namely tasks in the political, economic, social and cultural fields, said the director of foreign media sector, Abdullah Zaid Al-Khaldi, in remarks to KUNA. This department is organizing the schedule of the visit of these guests, such as a visit to the seaside headquarters of the National Assembly (Parliament), buildings and offices of ministries, government institutions and welfare societies. The UCLA delegation groups students of excellent grades. They are studying political sciences, international studies and Middle Eastern affairs. Meanwhile, the visiting students expressed great admiration of Kuwait's modernization and freedoms enjoyed by the citizens.
