A group of Iranian university students gathered in front of the French embassy in Tehran on Thursday to protest the recent publication of cartoons of Prophet Mohammad in a French magazine, Press TV reported. The French weekly Charlie Hebdo published naked cartoons of Prophet Mohammad on Wednesday. The protesters chanted slogans against the United States, Israel and France on Thursday to express their abhorrence toward the "blasphemous" move, said Press TV. The publication of the cartoons followed the online release of a movie produced in the United States last week. The movie which also "insults" the Muslims' prophet has led to the violent protests against the U.S. in the Muslim world.
